Casarecce

The name evokes its ancient homemade origin, an interpretation of the “pasta busiata” of Arab origin obtained with the “bus”, the thin cane of a plant with which pieces of dough were once wrapped, a format originating in Sicily, but also characteristic of other regions of central and southern Italy.
